Revitalize Your Space: Hawthorne Auto Clinic’s Eco-Friendly Waiting Area Makeover
The owners from Hawthorne Auto Clinic reached out to us for a comprehensive transformation of their worn-out waiting area. Faced with worn floors, dingy walls, and dilapidated chairs, they sought a rejuvenation that aligned with their commitment to environmental consciousness.
Our mission was to not only enhance the aesthetics but also prioritize sustainability in every aspect of the redesign. We partnered with Green Furniture Solutions to bring eco-friendly chairs into the waiting area. The stunning live-edge side tables and bench were custom-crafted using stained juniper, an invasive species sustainably harvested from NW Sustainable Wood.
For the flooring, we opted for a solution with recycled content, ensuring both durability and environmental responsibility in this commercial interior design project. We hired Lynn to design and oversee refurbishment of the waiting room and front office in our auto repair business. The space had been in service for over 20 years and was looking worn, the furnishings stained and threadbare. We appreciated that her communications with us about the project were regular and thorough; we were always in the loop on what was happening when, She took pains to see that the contractors completed the work to our satisfaction, and was able to arrange for the work to be done outside of business hours, minimizing disruption to our operations. Most importantly, she considered our tastes and values, selecting materials and furniture using recycled content and which were sustainably produced.
