LYNN FEINSTEIN, Owner and Chief Designer
Lynn, our Portland Interior Decorator, founded Mobius Home in 2011. She has 3 decades of training and experience in fine art, sculpting and a variety of design disciplines. She graduated with a BFA from San Jose State University, and an MFA at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
She experienced the culture and lifestyle of both coastlines, immersing herself in the world of art and design with frequent treks to New York City. During this period she exhibited her work at local galleries and group shows.
She traveled throughout Europe, Asia and the Middle East. The experience broadened her knowledge of art, architecture, design, and the richness of various cultures, cultivated a passion for overseas travel, and influenced her aesthetics to encompass a global perspective.
She eventually returned to Portland and shifted her career focus into the world of design in the sports and fitness industry, continuing her education and contributing to the success of their brands through her expertise in graphic, color, material and product design and trend forecasting.
The culmination of these experiences brought her to the realization that she wanted to embark on a profession that combined her creative background with making a positive impact in minimizing the stress on the earth’s ecosystems and on human health and welfare. She completed training as a Master Recycler in the spring of 2010, working as a volunteer to educate the greater Portland Metropolitan communities on being resourceful at home and at work.
With this knowledge and her keen eye for spacial arrangements, color, aesthetics and materials, our Portland Interior Decorator will give you the guidance you need to create a balanced environment that is an expression of you, at home or in the office.
JEN KILCOYNE, Design Assistant
With a Bachelor’s in Visual Communication, Jen Kilcoyne has been dominating the graphic design world for the last 24 years. A few years ago she began dabbling in interiors as a way of applying her design skills to the third dimension. After a number of projects (an Airbnb refresh here, a hand painted mural there, a few full house makeovers around town) and soon, transforming spaces became an obsession for her. She now joins forces with the fabulous Möbius Home, evolving her passion into a new career trajectory.
Building on her successful experiences in creating brands and logos for businesses, Jen understands that the first step in designing a space is listening to and getting to know her client in order to create an environment that matches their styles and visions. The interior cherry on top of this design cake is that Möbius Home is an environmentally conscious company, which aligns seamlessly with Jen’s aspirations of working towards a more sustainable [and designed!] future for all.
